What was your favorite things a friend/family member sent you? What's the GOAT commodity to trade around in jail? 
Did your friendships change when you got back home? My friend did a few years and we had a few phone calls but I didn't write to him as much I wanted to. He didn't sweat it but I still can't shake the guilt.

Id assume people would see that Jits and all the brothas would wanna save up for some connecting mats so they could learn some Brazillian Jiujitsu. The ultimate civilizing martial art. You can get your frustrations out and defeat an opponent in the name of sparring. So pure.

I wouldn't see them as "sparring matches" more so than actual fights. It's kinda like that old japanese proverb "The nail that sticks out the most gets the hammer". A dude training hand to hand combat is definitely gonna stick out

Money,pictures and books breh,jobs don't pay shyt in there,you miss family and friends like crazy and you have nothing but time on your hands,so those 3 things were very important to me
Coffee,food,basically commissary items are the things most traed in there.
Friendships turn sour sometimes,I mean how we cool and you couldn't even write me,cats don't understand how important that is to dudes on the inside.
