What are the fights like in there? Will dudes just roll a dude, 4-5 deep, or try to kill nikkas first chance they get or is it some gladiatorial shyt? Will nikkas just square up and throw down then go the separate ways

Nah nikkas will shank only when its serious,similar to the streets nikkas only shoot when it's serious or straight p*ssy. And yea sometimes you'll get jumped by birch nikkas or nikkas who in a gang and won't let they mans fight one on one,its very similar to the streets bruh,just everyone is a criminal,so its a very high chance it can get very violent. But some nikkas just tell a nikka meet me in my cell and get it on or in the mop room and get it on and whoever win is the better man and its over. But majority of times if a nikka lose he will try to stab you up just like on the streets if a nikka lose they will try to jump you or shoot you,same shyt breh.

the judge i had everytime she saw me..she kept sayin primary numbers...i thought she was bullshyttin...til i ran into a couple cats on lock who had to deal with her...when they told me i fell out laughin...kuz she was serious bout them numbers..

I read the Marcus Garvey autobiography, my mum sent it in.

shyt blew me away. Looking around the jail at all my brothers thinking damn how we achieved that shyt them and now we ain't got shyt. Really made me see the bigger picture.

I also read the Malcolm X biography.

But yh Marcus Garvey biography changed my life rt.

I'd like to say, so people see we ain't glorifying this shyt.

I went on to get a degree, currently doing a masters. And I work ft in the same role as my Masters title. This shyt just pushed me to really get poppin. I hustle not but in the corporate sense.

Anybody can survive in prison,well naw I take that back

Majority if folks can survive in prison,as long as you man up when it's time,mind your own business and get involved in positive things you'll be alright

Depends on if I got in the cell first or second,sometimes I'd have the lower,sometimes top.

Yea I shared it with a few cells and other inmates who I grew to have a relationship with,but I got everything back,and vice versa if I needed something they had me and I'd pay them back ASAP ,it's all about respect in the joint.

Naw I didn't eat that shyt,i ate spreads tho

what made you not join the NOI?

Is it true that you have to remember the number they assign you?
Did you see repeat offenders, like cats that would do time get out, then come right back a few days / weeks later

I mean never really thought about it,knew a lot of guys already from the streets and just liked doing my own thing,never wanted to join a group while locked up.

Hell yea,i mean that how they address you either by last name or number.

And yea I saw that a few times cats would get out on parole and come back a week or month later,being on parole is tough tho,you do ANYTHING and your going right back. You could go to a club in the next city from you that's only 10 minutes away and if your parole requires you to stay in your city and a cop asks for ID and runs your name you going straight to prison.
