I read alot of books man, cant remember them all but I read alot of Walter Dean Myers books,I read letters to an incarcerated brother which was very good,I read the autobiography of Malcolm X,I read a few Sistah Soulja books, and a few more,I wasn't big on reading when I first got there because I was only 18 and wasn't trying to better myself,I really didn't start reading until my last 2 years of incarceration.
No prison is designed to keep you in or have you come back, any rehibilatating will have to be done by you,if you don't choose to change then you will continue to be the same person, prisons way of claiming your rehibilatated is you taking your mandatory classes while inside, staying out of trouble and working a job,you do those 3,when it's time to see the parole board your going home, but I seen alot of guys go home like that and they weren't rehibilatated, they just met the requirements, they didnt change
