Unfortunately we don’t separate our prisons based on type of crime/falsely convicted, thus they all need to maintain a certain standard of living. These are awful conditions, especially when you see countries like Norway and Finland who have taken a completely different approach. If they weren’t filling these places up with black and brown men, bet they’d look a lot better
