I keep seeing this pro black hustle money making talk. My question is who here believes that is it more more in being pro black then it is in c00n or vice versa.

I mean if you got a name behind yourself some what which direction is best to talk to make more money.

Say like a Tariq he could have went to opposite way and soft shoe c00ned and got VH1 shows and MTV shows but it seems he didn't get those rewards in the future because of his change in stance for the macking stuff to the pro black stuff. What do you guys think.

No it's far more money to be made in c00ning even from a regular black man perspective the reason a lot of brothers and sisters aren't pro black is because it will make white People uncomfortable.....All you have to do is look at the top black people at your jobs and etc the only places you can find conscious black entertainers is usually in sports because at the end of the day it's hard to replace their talent.

A guy like Tariq could make far more money sticking to relationship talk ain't no money to be made in being pro black....Turn on any news talk show and you will seen far more sellouts than anything.

Honestly I think he felt black people needed a voice...However he still does the mack thing etc...At the end of the day I'd like to think he is conversing about stuff most other black people do.

At the end of the day, no matter your stance, you have bills to pay. So, if "pro-black" use whatever they do to make money, I can't hate on their hustle. The most important thing is the message. Just focus on the message and leave the messenger alone - we all have bills to pay.

People like Tariq Nasheed, Boyce Watkins et al catch a lot of flak for investing their lives in educating black people because of their imperfections and for trying to create wealth from it and pay their bills. But how come pastors, purveyors of European gods, who have robbed black people of billions, don't get the same flak for what they do?
