Bro if your able to hit him, even tho you side stepped... Your close enough to get grabbed and tackled...
Ricky Hatton is a boxer in a boxing ring, not trying to tackle Mayweather.
Smh
Side not....I've probably watch that fight 50 to 100 times literally
Youre not grabbing or tackling a person when your getting punched in the face. Lunging at someone with your arms out is the easiest way to get fxcked up if your facing someone trained in combat who knows to throw their hands and move their feet and understands range.
Its not hard to avoid getting tackled. It really isn't. Unless the person you're facing is a lot bigger and stronger than you. You could see the shyt coming from a planet away.
Its the lamest most basic move, its predictable as hell and its the mark of someone who can't fight. The only fights that end up on the ground are fights in which NEITHER opponent knows how to strike. Show me the Coli breh that's easily tackling Keith Hunter.
This is the shyt that people who dont know shyt about fighting but boxing, and cant even do that for shyt say. Grappling is as essential to overall hand to hand combat as boxing is. Were talking about an actual fight, not a combat sport with a ruleset and a referee. If a skilled grappler closes the distance and shoots a takedown on the boxer or the fight takes place in close quarters like a house party/nightclub/bar/restroom/hallway etc...the boxer is most likely taking the L. Go ahead and tell a grappler/wrestler they "cant fight" after they either take you down and blast you with fists and elbows or twist your ass up....OR scoop you up and dunk your ass cuz you had no idea how to deal with it. Then again, this is the coli where nikkas live vicariously through their fav boxers yet never set foot in any sort of gym.Youre not grabbing or tackling a person when your getting punched in the face.
