If I were in Gaza trying to help some people, it wouldn't even register to me to give the people a lecture on how other groups of people are suffering. My only concern would be to help them because at that moment, they'd be the most important ones to help.

In Islam, there is a concept that the prayers of the oppressed are always accepted by Allah. So oppressed people always pray for each other. You can say it wasn't the time or place for that, but the people in Gaza also pray for the people in Sudan and vice versa .
