To be real half of these joints SOUNDED good in the context/flow of the song, doesn't mean they aren't unintentional comedy though.

I always hated that "hit the ground, bounce up like round-ball"...

Round ball nikka? :dahell:
I always thought what the hell is round ball!?!? Must be some New York shyt.

Lost 92 bricks had to fall back :whoa:
Knocked a nikka off his feet but I crawled back :whew:

This is before rap :birdman:
This is all fact :win:

that verse wasn't close to being wack, and your smileys don't match what was going on in the song.

  • Never Change is one of Jays all time best tracks:ufdup:

I like Jay more back then than now but that line as an early teen seemed:patrice:. I watched enough gangsta and hood movies to know 92 bricks being lost or stolen can only be solved 2 ways. Being killed or killing dudes. Those bars were to nonchalant over losing 92 bricks of anything, weed or coke.

"Oh my god, I hope y'all don't get seasick"

The line would have been whatever but Jay tried to spin it into a double entendre that made no sense at all

Solo wise the last thing Jay made that i thought was great is "Lost Ones", after that "Gotta Have It" with Kanye is the only current Jay stuff i can tolerate.

:dahell: So the whole American Gangster album was trash huh
