Favorite song is Stay Dope. First part of the beat is what I imagine hearing standing in front of a firing squad, second part of the beat is what you hear at a romantic diner for two where you're gonna ask your girl to marry...then back to the firing squad :mindblown:

I know I shouldn't be mad but that actually really pisses me off man. If you wanna do that to entice people to get buy it and not bootleg it then great. Everyone wins. But don't straight up be dishonest about it, because that's how it comes across.

I mean I was going to buy it anyways to support, but knowing that the disc doesn't have bonuses I would would have gotten it on vinyl instead. This is annoying.

It's 2013. Let people know what they're getting. Beyond that the label didn't ship the album on time so it's gonna be late.

:rudy:

C'mon breh. 16 tracks is more than enough. and including the beat switches and the interlude...that's about 20 new ALC beats. the album is perfect to me. I'm going to buy the CD just to say I did. lol.

Ok, finally got to hear the album...loving lmdkv, give em hell, stay dope, ynt, dough pildin, confessions, breeze, raw forever and say my name. Fave is either dough pildin or say my name....only thing I'm not feeling is rip...and honestly not feeling the features, would have rather p spit by himself like rotm but they aren't terrible. Really dope, first album I've anticipated in a long time and it def delivered.

LMDVK - from the snippets, this was the track that got me most hype. Dark as fukk and got them drums Al was using Chemical Warfare era. 9/10

Give Em Hell - that KONY sample and that vocal sample :ohlawd: 9/10

Stay Dope - :whew: at that piano...one of my fav tracks off album 10/10

Curb Ya Dog - not gonna lie, really do not like this track at all. That decending sample sounds like something from a 60s cartoon show and cant stand it. i wanna murder them dogs too. got me havin flashbacks to the leaked version of Stillmatic... 6/10

Death Sentence - sort of one of the more conventional beats on here. Sounds like it could have been off 360 Waves. Roc Marciano rips it to shreds. 8/10

Bear Meat - a lot of Al's stuff has an extremely repititive part to it, and this is one of those beats. It overshadows the rest of the beat and makes it hard to pay attention to P 7/10

Y.N.T. - if this wasn't originally for Covert Coupe, I'd be surprised. shyt is smooth as fukk. Smoother than Tender Greens, which I didn't think was possible. Domo is impressive, too. 10/10

RIP - another one of the more conventional beats on here. Raekwon destroys it though. Havoc is decent. I like the end breakdown with the guitars too 9/10

Dough Pildin - :wow: this is Al at the top of his game really. P sounds hungry as he's been in a while. 10/10

Confessions - beat is OK, but P really outdoes himself here. Disturbing but amazing. 9/10

Bible Paper - yooooooooooo....the beat switch, brehs....the beat switch. Goddamn. 10/10

The One - this also sounds like it was meant from 360 Waves. Action's verse is alright 8/10

Breeze - smoooooth. This is some Covert Coupe shyt here. 10/10

Raw Forever - laid back, some smokin, reflectin music. Reminds me of 1st HNIC vibe, am I wrong? And my lord, that second beat.......gives me the Holy Ghost 10/10

Say My Name - perfect end to this album. P has kept it up for the whole album. Al is on some next level shyt. 9/10

Overall 9/10

After many spins, and after a half a year in, this is definitely album of the year so far.

Alchemist is definitlely not fukking around, Pee is spitting...when this happens, classics are made :yeshrug:
