I think "Mobb Deep" are hoping to sell some records and expand the sound Hav had on 13. 13 was good enough, but I dont think thats what people wanna hear from Mobb Deep in 2013, but theyre probably hoping to cater to the younger fans and get a better label situation....not too thrilled if thats the case tho

Finally listening now.

But before I go any further, I want any readers to know "Return of the Mac" was the reason I got into rap music. I always liked rap, just like I always liked music. I never had a favorite band, group, singer, rapper, nothing until ROTM dropped.

If this album never came out -- or more importantly, the video/song for "Mac 10 Handle" -- I may have never delved as deep into rap as I have, or joined SOHH/The-Coli. Hell, I might have become an indie rock fan or something like that.

If nothing else, this album deserve 158023858 percent my purchase.

But I'm five tracks in and I'm digging it. Not saying I'm "bored" with rap, but I check for the 8-10 artists I like and keep it moving. I tried Mac Miller's album and it wasn't wack, but I just didn't like it. Same with J. Cole's album, Chance The Rapper's mixtape, Tyler's album, etc.

But I'm hearing this album right now -- currently on "Curb Ya Dog" -- and it's the best sh1t I heard in a loooooong minute, man.

The first verse on "Give 'Em Hell" :wow: :damn: :myman:

This album is making me remember why the 90s rappers >>>>

I hated 13 at first but it's grown on me crazily. And low key the Mobb aura is still present on a good amount of the tracks. Havoc has a sound that only he can conjure and it's one I'd love to hear P on again while this little revival of public interest holds up.

Here's a thought...Hav & Al collaborate!

But also, Prodigy needs to rap at least as well as he is on Albert Einstein on the next Mobb record for it really to be a Mobb record.

Why the hell is it titled "LMDKV" when he clearly says IMDKV?

Someone made a typo man, I think. When the first tracklist came out with the joints that got scraped like Mightier Pen, Rakim, Scientology, Gnarly, etc...IMDKV was actually called IMDKV. Then when the "real" tracklist came out it changed to LMDKV.

I'm never going to call it LMDKV though.

I agree with all of thos 100%.

In addition...there should be absolutley no R&B singers whatsoever and the only features should be Rae, Ghost, Nas and Noyd...or any combination. Possibly Roc Marciano as well. but IMO...that's the only way it will be "True" Mobb Album that can stand up against their top albums and not be forgotten like the last 3 group albums.
