couple things:

1) The flutes on Curb Your Dog :ohlawd: couldn't make that out on the clean version

2) We need an instrumental version of this album ASAP

3) We need the samples

bottom line: P & Alc outdid themselves wit this one. straight dope from start to finish. The only song that is just 'okay' to me is the one w/ Bronson, BUT that is cuz it comes after that 3rd beat switch-up on "Bible Papers" which is so ridiculous its not even funny.

album sounds great in the whip, especially after the sun goes down.

Word.

I'm kinda feelin' like this is his strongest work lyrically since Hell on Earth. I haven't heard dude sound this hungry since those Mobb glory days. Very dope project here.

5 listens in, this is already the most compelling Prodigy project I've heard in forever.

For those thinking Alc flipped "Everybody Loves the Sunshine" in a way no one thought of, as a very devoted Roy Ayers listener I feel like he sampled a different version of it... might be the demo version, which is slightly different. And it sounds like he even flipped a part of RAMP's "Daylight" (original source of Bonita Applebum sample) in the mix.

This album really surprised me. Even though P's voice is still off sometimes, he has some quality moments and keeps up with the production. The beat switches on this joint are absurd. P also got me laughing here and there, pronouncing words real strange like he's in prep school for the first month, trying extra hard trying to sound words out.

Overall though...

Production is absolutely disgusting. Alchemist is in his prime right now.

As everyone has said, Prodigy stepped up. This is better than Product of the 80s, HNIC 2 & 3, and I think even edges out ROTC. I'd have to check out the first HNIC again, because its been probably 10 years since I've heard it in its entirity
