Man...Alchemist using the vocal "wahahahaha" sample from the surf song Wipeout for the Slept On beat is fukking nuts. Dude is a super-stoner to think of that shyt.

for anyone saying P is finished :pacspit:

we all know P is one ALC album away from coming back. This is his sellout album and the numbers he throws up will teach him not to pull this shyt again but to say he's done is just retarded!

It's a let down, because the content of HNIC1&2 was alot deeper, real life, thought provoking shyt. On here, he got alot of female records which all make him sound out his element, or bullshyt half-assed songs talkin bout yeah mobb deep still here, we got a track record shyt. Sound like he trying to a lot of experimental songs.

HNIC is damn near a 5 mic album in retrospect. It's definitely 4 and a half, and a legit classic. Too many classic flows, lines, and beats. It helped put Alchemist and Havoc on the map as producers everyone wanted to use. So much of it was unorthodox. No hook on Keep It Thoro, yet that was the single. The album ended with You Can Never Feel My Pain. P even had his fukking girlfriend rap on Trials of Love.

HNIC 2, the Deluxe Edition, I agree with you, if he had taken off a few songs and replaced them with some of the Product of the 80's music that was cut...that was an underrated album. He tackled some big themes on there with the conspiracy talk and all that. HNIC 2 still pretty good to me, and when you hear him break every song dow on the Deluxe version, the album makes a lot more sense. He had a ton of hidden gems in there.

This HNIC 3 does not feel like a Prodigy album at all! Too many love songs. I was hoping for more belly of the beat/prison/illuminati/conspiracy shyt mixed in with the typical threatening rap.

The production hurts it too. Take for example the Co-Pilots joint produced by The Colombians. It's a knock-off Sid Roams beat. But when you can get Joey Chavez & Bravo (THE REAL Sid Roams), why get a knockoff Roams beat? No offense but I don't want to hear Beat Butcha, S.C., and Valentino all over a Prodigy album when he has access to Alchemist, Havoc, Sid Roams, Oh No, and Jake One.

Like the album could be dope, that's what really aggravates me. Play to your strengths man...if P just did that he could make consistently dope shyt forever. People miss his old flow, but Prodigy has made great music with the thugged out spoken word style, but he pretty much missed on this one.

I agree. Like I said in my last post, P has made super dope music with the thugged out spoken word style, and if you look at the dates, he's been doing that style for more years than he ever did any of his other styles. He actually has like 4 different styles, but I can break that down another day.

I wold never say he's done, he's one of my 10 favorite rappers of all time and always will be. I'll ride with Mobb Deep until the wheels fall off. But I agree, a full ALC album would be amazing, and if not that, at least another HNIC 2 style album with ALC, Hav, and Roams doing all the production.

Same here. I just saw that tweet from Alan the Chemist.

I'm still not sold on all these finished collab albums because he hasn't released any of them, but fukk if he drops 2 or 3 of the ones he's done already by the end of 2012 I'm sold. If this isn't something P and Al are gonna release, I'm almost more mad I even know about it.

It's like knowing that Pete Rock did over an album's worth of material with M.O.P. right at the time between Soul Survivor and Warriorz. It's awesome they did that, but it fukking sucks because will never, ever hear it.

Exactly. That's the shyt I'm saying. If people knew how much stuff Just Blaze had laying around on his hard drive...:lawd:

Premier probably has a hundred with M.O.P. too.

So yeah I'm glad Alchemist has all these albums done and working on. But I also wanna hear them.
