This is pretty jarring in terms of not being at all what I was expecting based on the first volume of the trilogy. But after listening to it about ten times, I’m definitely fukking with it.

It’s got a west coast, almost Bay Area feel to the production and there is singing on the hook. P does his thing vacillating between rapping about a girl and his usual street shyt. On first listen I had to rewind because I thought he had a line about hitting the girl in the face with a Henny bottle

I can’t say it was humanly possible for me to anticipate this album any more than I have been the past 5 years, but this is a dope and unexpected way to set this off
