Elaborate breh :leon:

Despite coming from a well to do family, his pops was a bit of a knuckle head - addicted to heroin since 14, he robbed banks, in and out of jail throughout his life. On the other hand, he was a Green Beret, Doo Wop Singer and some kind of computer specialist in his later years. He worked for IBM and was one of the first people to test Windows for Bill Gates. He was quite accomplished but with a dark side too. And light skinned to boot.

If that's not a recipe for p*ssy, I don't know what is:wow:

That's funny, I was just reading his book and when he spoke on his pops I felt their lives were eerily similar.

“so growing up my pops was known as the rich kid in South Jamaica. He got into a lot of fights to prove himself in the streets, extra-wild shyt to show people he wasn’t no punk.”

Like P's though?

Not like that, as far as I know.

But Nas pops was jazz artist. LL's uncle. Rakim had family in the music biz as well.

And then you got Afeni on the political tip, and the Kanye's mom was a college professor.

Just saying if you grow up in either a musical, intellectual, or political environment, then hip-hop is an outlet that many would gravitate to.

Talib Kweli's parents were both college professors

This is why they don't want us to have generational wealth. They don't want greatness to give birth to greatness :wow:
