Prodigy's verse on Drop a Gem On Them was the greatest thing out of that East coast-West coast beef

:troll:.....
I never got that logic. :pachaha:didn't hold a monopoly over the phrase "thug life".

bugs me how Pac at that point was sensitive about everything that may or may not be directed at him but then would say shyt like "Imma kill you!" or "That's why you have sickled cell" or "I fukked your wife!"

i cant tell if you two are trolling or not.

i seriously cant tell the difference on this board anymore.

Pac got upset about LA LA when Mobb were getting back at Snoop and Dogg Pound for NY NY

that didnt help, but pac's gripe was that they were butting their heads into the situation with biggie and talking slick.

I didn't say the WHOLE east coast...just my city and region (DC metro area)

have absolutely no recollection of this song or album in '96...but i remember Ridin Dirty gettin heavy play out here in the same year....i barely know anybody that fukked with lMobb Deep out here outside of a few NY transplants....if they couldn't even capture the whole east coast that's pretty tellin about their probable lack of reverance nationwide.

Back used to hit 'Survival of the fittest' and 'Shook ones'.

And with DC it was all mixed up, depends on where you went. Some folks were South, and West and some where more on the East shiit. Acts from all regions had love in the Area.

Mobb Deep always got love over here, when they came through.

When DID they come thru tho? :jbhmm:

Never seen em at no gogos...or heard of them being anywhere in the city.

I was at Fletcher Johnson the year this dropped and can't recall anybody talking about it or giving a fukk about this album/song or Mobb Deep in general :yeshrug:

I only knew the name "mobb deep" cus of pac putting their name in his songs.

Let's keep it real for a second...Pac would've gotten DESTROYED on wax by not only Mobb Deep, but Biggie, Jay, and Nas.
wouldve?
then why didnt that happen:duck:

u know when hypotheticals are the worst? when life already played out and didnt happen like that.....
