its a real easy formula.....producers can yank flute samples off youtube, some obscure ass chinese flute music made for meditation that isnt even copywrited.

Flutes are the hip hop version of leads, so it’s not the flutes itself just musical stylistic choices
I’m gonna post some “modern” type beats with flutes that I made later if I can dig them up. It’s hard to explain, but for trap type Beats, they are sort of a cheap code
