I been going back and listening to the classics. Probably an unpopular opinion but

Busta Rhymes - When Disaster Strikes
Cypress Hill - Temples of Boom
Onyx - All We Got Iz Us

had some of the best production (mixing, mastering included) of all time. shyt sound otherworldly

Rocky last album was beautifully produced too but he won’t get his flowers for it until he dies:mjcry:
I like Rocky, but I’m not a fan of music if that makes sense but praise the lord is a classic and most would agree on that for testing at the very least. I remember being down bad being a barista and the manager was a big Rocky fan and played this when it came out.

That in search of album heat. Saw em live for that think that was my first concert as a Jit. Kanye was there too. Was blown away by we major too Idk how to explain it, but you know what I mean it’s like damn this beat hard!

Breh I remember the first time I heard "We Major". It was on the Septa BSL train and I was going to work. I let Late Registration spin and I heard "We Major" for the first time.....breh. At least, I was like "this dude really bit off of DOOM", but I kept listening...it was like my spirit was exiting my body. Like my eyes were rolling in the back of my head and I had to repeat that track until I got to work.

It was such a majestic experience breh:wow:

If you can listen to this and not imagine yourself scaling down the side of a 50 story building in Dubai evading gunfire with a tuxedo on and then detaching the rope about 20 feet up and landing as quietly as a mouse pissing on cotton on the roof of the white Aston Martin then sliding down the windshield, brushing off your sleeves for no reason, and driving off with a 24 year old redbone British model with light green eyes then something is wrong with you.

I didn’t follow Jedi Mindtricks hardcore like that, but Stoupe’s production on Canibus’ “Rip The Jacker” album had me on some :ohhh: when I first listened to it. And to think I got the CD as a free promo copy while working at a Virgin Megastore at the time.

I was a huge fan of public access music video shows in Detroit because the music was uncensored. It was like a curated YouTube lol. But one day I’m watching it. The streets is watching movie is on but not the movie completely. Just the videos from the movie. Where I’m from came on. I kid y’all not. I said goddamn what is this?

I Heard reasonable doubt but not vol 1 yet. So when I heard that beat I was floored. My favorite beat of all time. And when I listened to the lyrics.I knew what was coming. I told everyone that dude was the best I ever heard:wow:

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
What was the last beat you were impressed by? For me it’s this

Funny you posted this... track was playing on Sirius earlier today and i was mid key telling myself that that might be my favorite Cactus Jackoff joint.

Any who, haven't been too impressed by anything in the 2010's... but this would have to be the last one:

Sounds fukkin' phenomenal in the whip. And Pat's verse is :ohlawd:

Can't really say this was the last time I was impressed but this was the first song that came to mind. The instrumentation, drum kit was crisp and snappy, Thundercat getting nutty on the bass :wow:
