It's legit the only way to not get pulled into a HR meeting or not come off like you're not team playerThat we even need a passive aggressive way of telling the truth at work says a lot about how lame some of these corporations are.
I've added a lot of value to the company this year and my efforts have realized x number of savings/profits for the business. I believe Ive earned an increase.
We don't need this shyt to deal with coworkers, where's the phrase to tell your boss "You need to stop bullshytting, give me the promotion I worked for."?
That’s when you need to be straight. But you have to work within your company’s guidelines. For example at my company you can get a promotion if there’s an open and approve role above you to promote into. If there isn’t then I would need to open a role and justify it. It can’t simply be because someone is doing an amazing job as fukked up as that sounds . So have a conversation above career path and timelines of promotion.

I'm part of a union but deal with HR ever so often. I made my head of HR avoid the office for the last 2 months after she sent me a bogus email and I laid into her in the most professional way possible. It's legit the only way to not get pulled into a HR meeting or not come off like you're not team player. This is an art form that needs to be mastered in today's professional environment.
