Cole is not a better artist than Kendrick Lamar in any metric except for perhaps feature verses.

As far as whose got the best outright BARS, Cole was definitely gaining traction but he punked out when the challenge presented itself. He’s not playing chess, there’s no grand strategy behind it. He realized that Kendrick would take his head off and he wasn’t built for getting personal because thats the only avenue he could take when battling (which also proves he’s not on Kendrick’s level)

Cole and his team know where this is going between the Owl crew and LA. They good if it's rapping but they not with the extras.

Read between the lines. The music is going to be a lot less respectful.

Im not mad at em and I kind of feel him. Imagine going into the booth and trying to make yourself mad enough to diss nikkas that you actually like:mjlol:.

He could feel the fans wanted something more serious than what he was able to muster. And the reason for that is,is because the Kendrick and Drake beef seems a little more serious, and actually has real stakes. So what happened is what was supposed to happen. J Cole really was in the way of the 1 v 1 people really wanted,3s a crowd:francis:

Gotta feel bad for the J Cole fans whove been championing him and pleading his case all these years though:mjlol:. He was finally in the convo whether you agreed or not,and he just gracefully bowed out.
:yeshrug: shyt, why should nikkas even watch sports if you gotta hate everyone they compete against.

I think u looking too deep into it. I don't think he's scared to outrap Kendrick. Hes better at rapping right now. I just think the nikka soft and too friendly. And also he didn't like the response to the first track.

I’m not buying that friendly shyt. Dude wasn’t apologizing when he was calling out Lil Pump and the junkie rap generation over and over and over. Dude wasn’t apologizing to Wale and they were supposed to be friendlier than he and Kendrick were. Dude wasn’t apologizing to Kanye and Kanye gave birth to all them nikkas.

So why, after 3 years of claiming you want it with any and everybody, a true legitimate challenger calls you out, lightly at that, and you fold like a lawn chair? Only answer that makes sense is because your SCARED of the consequences, and because we can safely assume that no violence would be taking place, the only thing Cole could be SCARED of is that he knows Kendrick would destroy him and he never had it in him to compete.

I mean we’re all in here agreeing the man is soft after last weekend. What constitutes someone being soft? FEAR.

nikka literally had a whole sit down with Lil Pump after. And he didn't know that nikka from a can of paint. Like I said I think it was less about fear and more about him being too friendly with Kendrick and not getting the response he felt he was gonna get from the first diss. Cole literally fought Diddy over Kendrick so lets not act like it's the same shyt as the other shyt in any way.

Did Cole apologize at ANY point during that sit down?
