Progressive Black Men and Women

I can't see myself marrying a white woman or even having a kid with one.

You can be progressive and not be a sell out. It's unfortunate that in the black community that the majority of the progressive men can't attract black women and the black women don't want a progressive man until they want to date other races.

My own observation is that a black person who goes out of their way to talk about racism, white people, etc just hasn't come to terms that they want to bed/marry a white person.

That's where you're wrong. She's definitely different. I didn't say better, but different.

She was raised by Laotians from the old country, similar to the old south. Women serve the men, women don't scream on men, women don't fight men ever, she has no absolutely no problem cooking and serving food. You'll never hear a Asian woman saying she doesn't need a man. Asian women need men and they believe in gender roles. It's popular amongst Black Women's culture to be independent of the men. And to fight to be equal to men.


Not saying my Asian is better, just different. You decides what's best for you.

While doing a search for some Ferguson related threads relating to gender leadership, this thread came up as a suggestion.

I wasn't here when this thread was first created. After seeing the long list of men -- and the surprises among the men -- I got uncomfortable, and just started skipping at which point I noticed that most of the women's links are broken. Can anyone find the originals, for posterity? Can't condemn/praise one group and erase the other group.

Also I bolded that part of your post because I have the same problem with men who want slaves for wives, as I do women who want ATMs for husbands. Of course, that would then beg the question of why a Laotian woman would choose a black man in the first place, instead of a Laotian man; there's a lot going on beneath the surface which wasn't answered in this thread. Were you ever interested in that answer, or did you take her submissiveness as your due and kept it moving?

You're all over the place man, i'm not sure what you're asking. I'll try to answer this confusion

First off, she didn't choose me. We were in college together, I was acing exams, she was struggling. She ask me to help her. I was new to DC, she's from here. We just started kicking it and she showed me around the city. Before I know it, we were kicking it everyday. I've never looked to date outside of my race. And I'm from Louisiana, I've always been around submissive women. Most modern Black women aren't as submissive as they were in the past, especially in DC. So dating her was really nice.
