Oh and this will soon cause unemployment to skyrocket. We’re going to have thousands of government workers and govt contractors that have largely stayed on ‘that’ side, now thrust into the open job market and there’s going to be abnormal imbalance.

The US is built off structure and predictability. When you throw a wrench in that, especially with no long term thinking whatsoever, it’s going to have a lot of unforeseen consequences. Think the pandemic, think the housing collapse.

I didn't get the registration email. But some of my co-workers did. My SES said they were just in a meeting with the top brass of the Navy. And it wasn't mentioned. None of them knew of it.

I got the first two OPM emails that asked to respond if you received it. We were instructed to reply yes. I did for the first one. But not the second one.
