I haven't seen where there would be that kind of customization in my career. I went from karts, to superkarts, to RT3. these are classes without a lot of room for 'upgrading'. and like I said, you race for a team, and don't even own the cars you race
Not so much with carts. But with other classes customization would let you better tailor a car to your driving style. It ads more variety and unpredictability to the races. And earning/owning/personalizing cars is a big draw that I feel is missing in this game.

to be clear, there is "customization" as far as tuning, choosing your tire compound, and such. and some cars have various colors/liveries to choose from

honestly I've found the progression in the career mode quite addicting, and I put Wolfenstein TOB and Invisible Inc on the back burner because of it
To each his own. I understand they were aiming at something a bit different. They said this was all about the race, while forza/GT is more about the cars themselves. I was just giving my thoughts after putting some time in the game.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I'm only talking about the games I have played.

Its you talking out of your ass about stuff you have not.

:wtf:

I've played Forza you clown, and I'm telling you exactly why PC games in general don't have a lot of customization.

You have never played IRacing or RFactor yet you were gonna talk about what makes them "more sim" :camby:

And it is the physics and driving models that make Rfactor and Iracing more realistic, that's half of what people talk about when it comes to them. You don't take the right line and you lose, meanwhile in games like Forza and GT drafting is so overdone you could take a shytty line and just jump on someones bumper and magically you gain speed @ a ridiculous rate :russ:
Not true at all:smh:

:dead:

I used to do track days at Limerock in CT, posted about it all the time on SOHH when I still had the cars in question. I know more about actual racing then you could ever dream of, drafting in GT and Forza is COMEDY and overblown, period.

Nothing makes sense to you because you're always trying to pump up Xbox (Forza in this instance) and are incapable of taking opinions that fly in the face of "MS da best!".

Never said anything about anything being the best. What you are saying is just not true. Maybe of you are talking about forza on the OG Xbox. But your statements here make it obvious you have not played one of the newer forza games.

There is no magically catching up due to drafting. That's absolute nonsese.

The fact that all you can do is pull out some Stan shyt in order to defend your nonsense speaks more about you than me.

You think a game with a much higher userbase, played primarily with a controller is going to have a driving model on par with games that stress their models and physics and people spend thousands of dollars on wheels & setups in general.

Anyone that disagrees with you hasn't played the game, because Meach's opinion is the final word apparently :russ:

:dead:

That's NOT how drafting works in real life, in IRacing or Rfactor.

No. You have not played the game and are talking out of your ass. Those are facts. Has nothing to do with agreeing with me or not. These aren't opinions these are factually incorect statements you are making.

the tailoring can come from tuning. but beyond that there's not much room to 'upgrade' within these classes. as far as the manufacturers are concerned, they've designed these cars to be as good as they can be, while still fitting into the regulations of their class

Nah, @MeachTheMonster wants to turn his Toyota Camry into a world beater, this game sucks cause he can't bump it up to 1000hp with the OVO logo on the hood.

What's that supposed to prove with no context?

Dude wasn't even on the gas at the start if the video. As I said you are just posting a bunch of nonsense.

:mindblown:

They were CLEARLY seeing how drafting works in the game, the cars all start accelerating at the same time. A 50-80mph run is not going to produce draft like that, but hey, you know all about racing.
