Project really emphasized consequence in his raps. What makes him special is his sense of humor but also there is nothing really glamorous about what he says. Most of first few albums are incredibly depressing details about betrayal, doing time and dealing with not being able to trust anyone. Crook By Da Book to me is his last real coherent project and "Raised In The Projects" is one of the best videos ive ever seen, period. Shot for shot.

Nahhhh Ball is way more smooth as far as flow. They dont sound very similar to me besides in superficial ways

I mean I get the example and it's valid but 8Ball didnt stick to that flow and on his best songs he rarely used that type of flow. Did Pat use the flow and run with it..yes but he didn't really bite that flow from 8Ball. He did switch it up every now and then and knew how to go in and out of pockets flawlessly on tracks. That is Pat's gift. He does it so perfectly on Cheese and Dope.

Great point. Ball did give Pat a style to run with sure but Pat took it and improved on it just like every rapper. Nikkas act like he just ripped dude off
