Only thing that I find ironic is how some of the people hyping this title up spent every opportunity to trash LBP when it was mentioned as a great exclusive for PS3. I'm sure most in this thread probably won't even buy this game

This game creates entire worlds, LBP creates bullshyt levels at best. Final Fantasy 13 Versus is NEVER coming out on sony consoles. We about to make that ourselves on Xbox. And we'll remake Final Fantasy 7 while we at it

This game gonna be ass because it won't have the magic touch of LBP. Microsoft knows no limits. First they copied the PS Eyetoy with the Kinect, Metroid Prime with Halo 4 and now LBP??

The only thing about this that is like little big planet is play.create.share. And there are plenty of games that use that ideal as well. That doesn't make them LBP knockoffs. That's like saying every shooting game is a halo knockoff. It's just not true.
If this game was a sidescroller or if it had sack puppets or a goofy announcer or any of the things that defined LBP then it would knock-off. Project Spark has none of that. The differences go well beyond 2d and 3d
This game is a obvious response to LBP. Don't know why you arguing this. Looks like MS saw LBP, saw the critical acclaim and the success of it and said 'we need a game like that' and here comes this game.
But i'm not gonna argue with you about this no more. Go ahead and think MS is doing something revolutionary

For once I agree with you. Honestly though this game looks inspired by LBP but not a knock off of it since LBP last time I played didn't have 3d levels like that.Those two games were actually good imo. Good as in slightly above average. LBP Karting is trash to me so don't think I'm not going to act like it's hot.

This is a totally different game. The only similarity with LBP is the user generated focus. LBP is a sidescroller platforming game. This can be used to make ANY type of game. Big difference there. Hell you can make a LBP game with project spark

LBP2 is more than a sidescrolling game. Dudes have made FPS levels, racing levels, NES style RPG levels, all kinds of mini games within the game
