i literally grew up in rap. Been in videos, backstage and concerts, promotes hiphop clubs. I’m a family man now and I can’t listen to NONE of this new shyt. It’s boring and ignorant.

I stopped after Kendrick and Cole. They are the last great rappers imo.

My kids are growing up listening to MJ Prince Stevie Isley brothers Roy Ayers Badu Sade etc no new shyt. It’s banned

hip hop is a complete joke and literally
Looked at as music for children. I love it, my vinyl inventory proves that. However, rap since the late 90’s has been mostly a corporate asset, not an art form. Everything that is counter culture in hip hop becomes the standard, which makes hip hop corny, and corporate. Looking like Gucci Mane/Lil Wayne/Chief Keef used to be COUNTER CULTURE. Now everyone looks like him. NWA was counter culture. Now looking like a gang member is all good.

Blame rappers instead of corrupt labels brehs

Hip hop will never die

Never ever

Hip hop was here before the charts and sales and it will be here after the charts and sales

All this tells me is that you probably never loved it

You probably just loved the popularly of it

Spitters will always rise up

Stop listening to it if you want

You nikkas is dorks

2023 was one of the best years in hip hop history

I often wonder what hiphop history in 2024 would be like if we had to discover music like people have to now. You got to find music now like you’re going on a quest to save the princess on some Super Mario shyt. Make these songs available like how they make Ice Spice and Sexy Red available. That ain’t happening though

So this lady is acting like bashing Ice Spice is some anti-woman thing?

Even though lots of female rappers in the past got respect from men and women?
Maybe they were just better than the female rappers today.

And better than the male ones, too.

:sas2:

They should talk about her. She killed this track
