Yeah... After watching this I see he grew up Middle Class. I don't see how people are talking about how he grew up this rich kid. But hey, rich is subjective.
I still don't see anything wrong with him. My only issue with him would be using the word nikka. I just feel he says it to be cool, and you can tell he didn't grow up around the word.

He did start at the bottom. Not money wise but credibility. A lot of people still don't respect him because of his background. If he had been a poor kid from some random borough in NYC yall would've already crowned him the king.

Anybody else noticing how he has been saying nikka alot more often now then early on. Just something I've kinda noticed recently...
I wouldn't have a problem with the whole "Started from the bottom" theme if he actually talked more about his uprbringing.
Other than general reference here or there he rather talks about him in his youth and teenage days. Seems like he basically just talks about whats happened since he got in the game.
I can think of any great rappers that don't or hasn't rapped about how they grew up/came up...

If you are referring to me calling him white while calling him a nikka... nikka is not a race or nationality. It's a state of mind. He had a great up bringing and it looks like he was raised right. But he chose to do nikka shyt and say nikka nikka nikka to gain some form of acceptance. Can't get anymore ignorant than that. He's trying to be and portray a persona in his music and it just doesn't resonate with his upbringing.
