NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I said he wasn't the best, didn't say anything about him being the main. Just Blaze is overrated as shyt. Everybody loves his singles because that's what made them... but track-by-track he was missing. He didn't start his career with the Roc and you didn't hear anything from him after... how great is he? Gimme a break. The man has skills but he ain't top anything.
Just Blaze was their best sample flipper. Drum Programmer. And DJ. And I think u should look at a list of songs he produced or contributed to. Just wasn't no joke. And he was definitely the most skilled beatmaker on The Roc. Don't get me wrong Bink and Ye was both dope as fukk. But there was a reason Just was the go to guy.

:mjlol: Don't get why y'all get upset that people like three 6 mafia and wanna give em props

who said I didn't like 3-6 mafia?

there was a time when I was the only one making threads about them on these boards. now suddenly, I'm being painted as a hater?

NAH. the problem is that you dudes are just dizzy.

:russ: Just Blaze wasn't even Roc-A-Fella's best in-house producer with his 4-track an album max output. He ain't done shyt but produce a couple singles you grew up to... FOH. You're the Rings WOAT... stay over there before you have two titles in two weight classes.

:whoa:

just blaze was the #1 producer on the roc.

Just Blaze was signed with Rocafella was in a house producer and worked MOST OF THE PROJECTS at the same time. He literally built the Rocafella sound for that era.

You can't name 10 producers lmao

Rza is hot trash
Pete Rock is hot trash

Primo fell before Nas even droppped Stilmatic lmao and he from texas anyway

Like I said Name one Producer and drop a joint showcasing the production skills, YOU CAN'T
breh I was with you because blaze is one of my all time favorite producers but your lost your damn mind with the bolded.

We're talking about production, so that plays the factor

They flip the samples better and had to the compositions, they are better producers.

Tear Club Up 97 had to be BANNED for being played, because nikkaz literally would tear the club up

mobb deep ain't never been banned from anything except QB

my nikka... I know what he produced... this is exactly what I'm referring to lol... I'm asking you to show me what he did that was so great other than the singles that everyone jocks him for. I don't hear anybody talking about Memph Bleek's M.A.D.E.... which Just produced a majority of... cause it ain't that good. He produced a majority of Philadelphia Freeway which I personally don't fukk with but I'm not gonna argue about that.

He had a stretch of singles that catapulted him into this TOP X status undeservingly. It's tracks like I Really Mean It, U Don't Know, Pump It Up, etc. that everybody knows Just Blaze for. They don't know the pre or post ROC Just Blaze, which is exactly what I'm referring to. Because there was no point of knowing Just Blaze before or after, cause he didn't do shyt lol. I don't hear anybody talking about his album work.... cause it's at max 4 tracks per every other album outside Freeway's and Bleek's. Like I said, he ain't top anything.

This thread is bad because I fukk with 3-6 heavy... I don't even know what's up with this comparison though. Apples to Oranges. I don't listen to 3-6 for the same reason I'd listen to a say Jay-Z so I don't even know why this thread is an issue. East coast rappers wouldn't have sounded right on 3-6 beats anyway so just give the men their due and keep it moving.

lol @ all these mediocre ass links being posted.

a lot of these half-wits are in here hyping chit up, just because theyre happy to spot a sample. nevermind the fact that most of this stuff has been flipped much better by other producers.

and like I said, I was an actual real-time fan of 3-6 mafia, but all these filler links yall are droppin, do nothing but remind me as to why they were just a c-list act with a cult following. and that's not a bad thing, especially for back then, but dudes need to pump their brakes in here. you stans think youre helping your favorite artists, when in reality, youre just hurting them.

doesn't matter how old you are.

youre on here more than enough to soak up game from "the older posters" and do your own research with the endless amount of knowledge waiting at your fingertips.

but instead, you prefer to revel in ignorance and hype up shock threads.

that my friend, is the epitome of dizzy. you'll find your way tho. and you will thank me afterwards.

Just Blaze is the only Rocafella producer still doing anything lmao

Just Blaze wasn't the best, you smoking crack, who was better lmao

He made the Roc literally. He mixed the records too, didn't you listen to the Combat Jack Interview.

They said I was the worst in the ring because of I said Mayweather would easily beat Pacquiao and that MMA was for fakkits, and they got butthurt

just like you got butthurt you can't provide any evidence to prove you point

I asked you to provide a sample and how it was flipped to showcase a producer with more skill than Just and you still haven't did

because you don't know shyt about beats or production

For one. I felt M.A.D.E was dope. Lol. Philadelphia Freeway was one of the best Roc release's on that label. He's also done stuff for other artists outside of The Roc. Which is why I told u to check his production credits cause it might surprise u. I mean the nikka had tracks like I Really Mean It and considered it a throwaway track. U may not personally like a lot of his shyt but dude has a dope track record up until he stopped making beats full time and focused on strictly Djing full time.

smh @ some of the arguments here

BOTH Just and 36 Mafia are legendary producers :martin:

nikkas really trying to downplay Just though? This nikka was EVERYWHERE all the 2000s until he semi-retired
