:ohhh: I just looked at some books from the nineties in my house and it's spelled berenstain

Coulda sworn it was berenstein or Bernstein:patrice:

But one of the authors last name is berenstain so it must have always been spelled that way:leostare:

I just don't remember that...but then again I was a kid the last time I really read or looked at these books like most people so faulty memories are to be expected:manny:

A Mississippi Cotton Field
A lotta this shyt comes from regional marketing from before the time of the internet.

Its like me saying jewell-osco never existed cause they don't have them in Mississippi.

:mindblown: oh shyt its an alternate reality!

Wait. Its Mississippi, so it practically is. :francis:

The rest of that stuff on that website, religious figures dying (if youre not hardcore 700 club follower, all of those big leaders seem interchangeable. Oral Roberts/pat Robertson/billy graham, etc), celebrities dying (I hadn't seen Bea author on tv- oh she died!? Then who's that old woman from Golden Girls telling vagina jokes now?) Buildings being something else (people mistake the Chrysler building for the empire state on all the time) video games (remember when playing any video game was considered "playing Nintendo"?), etc etc.....

Folks would rather claim they're really from Marvel 616 than say they made a mistake.
