Lets discuss some ways white supremacicst use propaganda for their benefit. Also some ways we can use it for our own benifit. We all see it. The most blatant recent one was the Mike Brown murder. Where there wasn't a word uttered talking bad about the murderer but, Mike brown got treated like Hitler.

The television show cops is enough said.

Then there's sites like World Star Hiphop and channels like BET.

The black music that gets hype and gets popularized nowadays is the lowest common demonimator. Hell it's even lower.

In the 90s it used to be socially conscious black music but now it's shyt like chief keef and 2 chainz.

I honestly wouldn't know where to start.

Every piece of media that you and I consume, including the GoT show/books which I rep in my avatar, are white propaganda, whether intentional or not.

I mean, you literally couldn't avoid it if you tried.

I feel like this forum could potentially be some launchpad for a black news network. We need an outlet that's not afraid to tell it like it is. If it hurts cacs feelings then so be it.

Every piece of media that you and I consume, including the GoT show/books which I rep in my avatar, are white propaganda, whether intentional or not.

I mean, you literally couldn't avoid it if you tried.

Get educated. Once you're walking around with eyes wide open you can see through the propaganda and lies

I'd be down for that. I've been doing my best to post cop stories to keep people aware of the war that's going on against us.

It'd be great if someone with news/ mass media knowledge could makes posts that break down the propaganda and bullshyt that they try to feed us on a daily basis.

For example someone pointed out that they darkened OJs skin during the murder trials and that is some mind blowing piece of info that opens you up to all the bullshyt that could be happening behind the scenes.

shyt is creepy. I grew in an intellectual black household so I never was pulled into this type of thing. I always assumed everyone knew it was bullshyt and didn't put much thought into it 'til I came of age. But I've been especially frustrated that seemingly intelligent people I know are really clueless of the nuances of mainstream medias delivery of their messages. It's frightening. The Conan stuff is funny but, I just need to chop it up and find some kind of solution. Some kind of way to counter it. I'm about action so when I find a solution I immediately get the ball rolling.

A visual medium seems like a good place to start. I figure since people respond so much to propaganda we could use the same tactics they do but, our purpose is positive.

I think the best thing you can do is figure out what really upsets you. Once you know that you can meet up with like minded people, or just work by yourself to affect some change.

It's all up to you man when there's a will there's a way. I can't tell you what to do out loud since I also plan to effect change and I'd be telling on myself at that point. If it's ideas you need there's loads of books on successful political activism and gorilla warfare tactics.

My big thing now is starting a bunch of small business with my Fam and close friends to get an economic base going. But I want some media tool to throw out my own propaganda.

Yes. graffiti, art installations, etc. Look at how much notice Banksy has managed to get


Work to your strengths.

If you're good at art you could make a 3D chalk art of a dead body with bullet holes in the back. But you'd probably just get a lot of cacs posing next to it.

Or we could go one step further and use their strength against them. There's so much advertisement out there you become blind to it. Someone clever could find a way to turn this

into a socially conscious message about police overreach

Lots of great ideas out there just waiting to be stolen

I think the biggest weapon white propaganda has is it's 24 hr repetitiveness. ESPN, CNN, etc roll for more than 16 hours a day, and with the ANNOYING ticker on the bottom, nonstop. That along with the bombardment of images is heavy propaganda.

Also, as of more recently there is becoming a less and less need for sources. That we cannot copy. I think our strength can be in the reporters, who can voice their opinion on things. When whites report they are like drones, just spewing out the story, with almost no regard to how idiotic it sounds. Whne there is flavor & commentary thrown over the story, a la Stephen Colbert/ John whatever, the people react positviely.

That chick is on Game of Thrones? The only black representation in Game of Thrones I've seen is a slave race. But I don't watch it. Does Drogo also count, or is he ambiguously ethnic? That beard always gave him an Ancient Assyrian/Persian/that region look.

I'm at the point where I will come down on 'all intentional'.
