:ugongetthiswork:Breh come on, you are one of the most knowledgeable posters on here and you post this bullshyt? Judas purposely betrayed his people. He willfully hurt his people knowing it would bring negative consequences...King's background played a VITAL role in his pacifist/nonviolent and multicultural utopian ideals at the beginning of his activism...plus he was a product of his time; it was the goal of the civil rights movement to use nonviolence tactics...he was just the most prolific representative of the movement...he truly believed that his tactics would lead to positive consequences and tried his damndest to make it work..when he started representing labor unions and sanitation workers, calling for revolution of the masses and ending the Vietnam War, how was he a Judas then????? You are wrong here man.
Yes he was wrong, and yes he failed....but to compare him to the story of Judas is disrespectful and ridiculous..that type of comparison would be laughed out of the room of even the most radical, leftist scholars who recognized King's problems but would never say that about him. You need to go back and do some more reading because it doesn't seem like you understand the historical contextualization of King, his background and the goals/motivations for the Civil Rights Era of the Black Freedom Movement...
In other words, don't post unintelligent bullshyt like this...its illogical and ridiculous
