While I don't disagree with you my issue with Kobe is that he is sitting around criticizing management for not putting a team around him, like his paycheck isn't the reason the Lakers won't be relevant for at least the next two years. Worse yet dude is not gonna be a contributor. He is making great money but he sacrificed some of his legacy in the process and while again thats all up to Kobe he should have the experience and knowledge to realize this. Had dude just taken a 20 mill contract. They would at least be in position to get a big time guy next year.

:mjlol: At people still thinking the big 3 took a pay cut to come to Miami, like Nike didnt front the difference.
:comeon: No that's not how it works, LBJ makes $15M a year from Nike relative to what his sneakers and apparel produce he is actually underpaid. Wade isn't with Nike never was, Wade was signed to Converse before moving on to Jordan and now Li-Ning, Bosh isn't a powerful player with sneaker companies he doesn't even have a signature player model.

Nike didn't front the difference, these nikkas actually took pay cuts, LeBron could have been looking at a max contract say somewhere like New York, with the same Nike contract, and even more endorsements.

1. Agree with Kobe getting as much as he can :salute:
2. However, he can't really say he's 100% about winning though. :whoa: Not that there is anything wrong that though.

But how is taking a pay cut being a c00n? I could see it as a sucker move if it were baseball or some shyt where there is no real salary cap. But, in the NBA or any sport where you have salary cap you as a superstar player have to really decide what's the most important thing to you, and how much are you willing to sacrifice for the good of the team. Kobe showed us what's the most important thing to him:manny:

Jordan is a subset of Nike. :comeon:
