There is big money in treatment, none if they find a cure.
It's sad but they only care about the money. We know damn well they have cures for most diseases out there, but when one chemo treatment costs like 10gs and you have to go in every week for that, where is the incentive to 'cure' that and throw away that cash cow?
Charities, and big pharma, and insurance companies, and doctors, are all shady as fukk.
Doctors get kick backs for punching certain drugs.
These so called "non profit" charities are setup for profit disguising there money as admin fees and salaries.
To look up your favourite charity and see what percentage actually goes towards research.
ANY kind of research for that matter
Compared to how much goes to executive salaries and "admin"

The ACS spends more money raising funds than they do towards what they actually support

CACs have yall wearing green for St Patrick's day, Pink for break cancer awareness., red white and blue for the 4th. I don't give a fukk what they supporting. They are taking the proceeds and stuffing their pockets with it. They make up the stupidest shyt. Wear pink for breast cancer lol. Like thats gonna help. Just gonna be a bunch of fakkits wearing female colors

You would be better off buying a regular Wilson football without the tacky pink ribbon printed on it, and then make a direct donation of a couple dollars to the Susan G Komen foundation.

Naw its not a stupid take. Healthcare/Medicine is a for profit industry. Donating for "research" is like donating to Nike so they can build better shoes.
If the treatment isn't free, then why should donating to their R&D be considered charity? Theres no progress updates, no oversight, no accounting of how the dollars get spent. Only press releases that say "Scientists may have discovered blah blah blah..." Yes there is some benefit to society, but it's mostly a scam.
But if I was in the NFL I would rock the pink cuz its cool to wear different colors
