You're kind of doing what I was saying when folks go at children being placed in these situations.

For the record, I don't think folks are born ignorant. Its almost always the environment both immediate (household) and broader (neighborhood) where folks learn how to behave.

Would it be nice to tell folks "do better" and they do it? Sure, but we both know humans don't work like that. OTOH you can't just because we don't have the power or solutions to remedy the issues...it still needs to be addressed to give an accurate assessment or else certain demographics get demonized to an unreasonable extent.

Sadly its a true story.....It was the neighbor of one of my lil 'side slides" back in 2012. I wasnt even in a position to say anything, I was just visiting and didnt know this chick at all.
