I've never really had any trouble up and through all the way to Anthem. The only speed trap I've seen is the service road from carefree highway to anthem running along 17 north.

I've even driven the back roads from the federal penitentiary from Carefree Hwy to Peoria/Glendale (I think it's Bell Rd)

People tell me it's not like it was back in the day.My grandmother has lived in Phoenix since 1972.

She told me, straight up, anything past Thomas was a "No Niccaz" zone.
