If Knack was made and released by a 10 dev team back in Nov 2013. The last time we all would have talked about that mediocre game would have been Nov 2013.

I wouldn't call Life is Strange (or the Telltale games) a "walking simulator"

it's "interactive fiction" that depends on various decisions you make. walking around looking at stuff is part of the game, but the main gameplay mechanic is making dialogue choices (and other decisions)

So it's basically a walking simulator

Just cause 3 has been on sale for $5. If yall wanted it you could have had it.

The games you guys claim to want have been on sale constantly for pennies on the dollar.

And just because you don't personally follow indie games doesn't mean anything. Theirs a ton of great selling indie games regularly doing a million+ that get discussed on here.
