Nah it's not as good as souls, but definitely worth playing if you like that style of game.

I been waiting for Journey to be free on PS4 for the longest, I maxed out the space on my PS3 so I never took advantage of the freebie there.
LOTF I bought for like 5 bones when it was discounted a while back and thought it was worth that money. Like others have said, it's a Souls rip off and a poor man's version but it has an interesting enough story and plays well enough that it's a worthwhile distraction if you're bored and need something to change pace from what you've been rocking. I'll be honest that I stopped less than halfway through to start another Souls run, but that's because Dark Souls is a heat rock and LOTF hit all the right chords to remind me.
Also, don't sleep on the deals this month. A lot of games with different gameplay mechanics that I'd sweat at full price but am willing to spend a little bit on to see if the experiments work.
