Can buy a tablet for that price
A tablet ain't as powerful enough to play PS vita games tho :sas2:
shyt I might just keep it for the homebrew and when its fully hacked this shyt will be :wow:

I'd hack my first PS vita but its connected to my PSN account and I'm not getting another PSN account banned again(got clapped during the PS3 hacking fiasco a few years back :sadcam: )

I thought the Vita game market was essentially dead, so why would this be a good buy?
(Not trolling, I'm asking a question)

$100 for a vita plus $40 for the vita tv on sale.
$140 for both would be a pretty dope impulse buy considering there are some great games out there for it. For example being able to play Persona 4 golden on the vita then taking it home to the big screen with vita tv would be cool.
However, there's nothing to brag about in regards to the Vita IMO. The only reason it exists today is for the free PS+ games which have been weak for the vita, and for the JRPG crowd.
Any serious handheld gaming belongs to Nintendo.

I bought the borderlands bundle in december for $199‚ I got one when they first came out but the screen was pretty scratchy. I like this model better it's a little lighter, but vita is seriously lacking in worthwhile US releases. Mostly just used for ps4 link atm, although I still get on pso2 occasionally on my jp psn.

If you have to make a choice in handheld game systems New 3ds is the way to go imo.

Games that are worth playing. Or are we pretending that Nintendo doesn't completely dominate the handheld gaming market? Excluding smartphone/tablet casual gaming.
They dominate the market because of who they cater to(kids and nostalgia). They've been dominating the handheld market. But I personally can't be a serious gamer on the 3ds over the Vita.

The Nintendo handheld library absolutely crushes the vita library. This is known far and wide.
