What's the consensus on PS Vue?

Is it reliable?

How's the recording, quality of the channels, do you run into a lot of tech problems?

Any hidden costs. What are the bills like?

I've had cable for 15 years now on my own, the bills for 2 boxes, DVR and internet are insane with Time Warner.... and so I'm thinking of cutting the cord....:guilty:

Been using Vue at least 6 months now and no thoughts of going back.

No hidden costs. Quality is great. As long as you have good internet you're good to go.

Been thinking about trying it, but one of my main concerns is when PSN goes down, does Vue go down too?

Just download the free trial, I did it last night and have been testing it out on my fire stick.

Stream is pretty good although I can see how it would be a little jaggy for sports.

The interface/guide on the Fire stick is TRASH though. It's really hard to navigate, but I need to spend more time with it.

If you watch a lot of cable TV, I'm sure it's worth it. I did the free trial a few months ago. PSVue streams well and quality never dropped for me.

I don't watch a lot of cable TV though. Sometimes I check cable news and I like to watch wrestling on USA, but that's it. Can't justify spending $30+/month for any of these services because cable TV isn't interesting to me.

Still waiting for the day when you can pick exactly which channels you want and be charged based off that. I'd probably only select 5 channels or so.

Its Aight. No CBS, Fox, NBC was a major turnoff and losing Viacom channels was a bad look.

But I work for one of the United States most evil corporations which provides their service for free and is much better so :manny:

I love it, ditched cable/satellite and havent looked back since.

no hidden fees, straight forward, minimal hiccups and I get local channels here. has DVR and great for sports, most time I get 60fps through the PS4

It's great for Sports fans... includes all the ESPN channels, Fox Sports Channels, NBATV, TNT, TBS, Comcast Sportsnet etc...

The interface experience is dependent on the Platform. It's great on PS4.

I only use it on PS4, ROKU and on my phone.
