Okay I'm trying to put in a 750gb hard drive that I was using for my jailbroken PS3, which I bricked some time ago:snoop:, into my normal PS3. I know that I will never recover the bricked one(soldering, buying flash tools, bios dumps???:why:)

Anyway, how do I wipe the 750gb drive clean so I can use it in my regular PS3? If I just put it in as is, will I be able to delete the data that's already on there? I assuming no since these are bootleg game files, I don't think I will be able to access the data to erase it.

Any help would be appreciated.

The PS3 will require you to format the drive to use in the new system. This ain't like the xbox 360 where you can just swap drives.
