My wife is ugandan. I met her there last year and was going back and forth every two months, we got married back in April and sponshorship takes around a year. Thankfully I work remote so I'm able to stay in Uganda for long periods until she is able to come to canada.

People are great super friendly. Only a hour away from kenya and rwanda by plane. Money stretches long, the avg ugandan makes like 150usd a month. Only real crime is pickpocketers, nobody is sticking you up, carjacking your car etc.
