PS3 signing me out in the middle of streaming and will not sign back in after reboot

recently my PS3 has been signing me out in the middle of watching Netflix and other programs along with playing games online. it also occasionally will not sign back in at all even after a system reboot. claiming that it can not get a network connection.

there is nothing wrong with the ISP or router and when this happens I test my other gaming systems (XBox and Wii) and they both will stream the same content that was freezing up on the PS3 perfectly fine. it's only the Playstation that this problem occurs. anyone know what could be the cause of this?

all other gaming devices are working and streaming flawlessly. it's just this piece of shyt PS3
