Just gave this a try with Siege. The input lag was noticeable, but not unplayable. I played a Casual Match and went 8-0 but I wouldn't play it seriously via Remote Play.

The game felt like it was in 30fps compared to the native 60fps that it runs.

Did you actually have the framerate option on at 60fps?? It shouldn't feel like 30fps.

I'm about to try what this nikka talking about.

Really @Fatboi1

:martin:

A video just to say sign into another account when you turn the console on and then switch to your main account after you start remote play?

:laff: Son that video had me fooled. I thought it was going to do something else but at the end that's all it was :deadrose:

I get what he did though, using the PS4 controller through the PS4 straight removes any sort of input lag. it's basically like you still controlling it from the PS4 but watching it happen on the PC which should have way less input lag instead of going through PC>>Network>>>>>PS4

It was better, just tried it. Not gonna play much Siege on it, but def gonna see what's good with Bloodborne on it, might help me finish it since I can just connect and play in the office when I feel like it

I been using it all day today on my iMac 27. Works VERY well. Played The Division and there was a very slight lag but nothing that affected gameplay negatively at all. I tried it out on my MacBook Pro and had the same results. I'm very happy with this update. Resolution was bad but I expected that. My setup is wireless computer and wired PS4. Played in my house a couple rooms away from the PS4. I wanna see what the lag is like when I play outside of my network. My experience with remote play on the Mac is incredibly better than my experience with remote play on VITA and PSTV which I hated with a passion.

If you sign into the remote play app with a different account that's on your PS4 and then once connected, press the PS button and switch to your main account, you can use the DS4 wirelessly without being plugged into the PC(Given that you're not too far away from the PS4 itself.)

Yeah I thought of that, but then told myself, if I'm close enough to use the ds4 wirelessly through the ps4 what's really the point of "remote play"? My use for this is going to be reasonably " far" from the ps4. For the times my main TV is being used I can just go to my imac and play just fine now. Its been GREAT for the division. The lag is there, but it's VERY, VERY slight. Sony did good with this one and I always give them a hard time about their lame updates.

The same TV I'm using my PC on is what the PS4 is connected to so this isn't really useful for me right now. Other than me having a window open and playing something while multi tasking on the PC, it's cool. I wish they'd allow better quality because the bitrate I heard is pretty low so that explains the shytty image quality.

Say that again

It's possible to use the DS4 wireless on PC/Mac?

Yeah it'll just be connected to the ps4. You'll simply use the PC client as your image. Sign in to the client with a different psn(like another account on your ps4). Then once connected, press the PS button and then it'll bring you to the sign in page, choose your psn account and then it'll still be connected. Your connection will still be there on the PC.
