If your guys ps3/Xbox and your moms fell into a lake and could only save one I bet 90% of you would save your consoles first.
I got 2 PS3 systems, so moms is gaving saved.

I disagree. No other device forces you through a pay wall to pay for services you pay for OUTSIDE of their platform outside of XBOX Live. There will be a small percentage of the XBOX One crowd that won't game much at all so they have to subscribe to xbox live just so they can watch Netflix? Do you realize how silly and ridiculous that is? They are targeting that casual group who is not aware of all the little details and are forcing them to pay a fee each month...when they don't have to on AppleTV, Roku, or dozens of other streamers out there.
Let's get past that point and we can continue.
Breh, you gotta pay for a cute separate box for those new media things...Liquid... I hear what you saying...but now that Sony charges to play online...as a gamer...IT DOESNT MATTER IF U CAN STILL PLAY Netflix..hulu. Etc...without PS+. If you are getting either one of these consoles for gaming...you are going to pay for online to play online...period.
Netflix will be there for both when you pay to play online. Nobody in 2013 is buying a Xbox one or ps4 just to play offline and play Netflix. What HDTV that comes out in the past 3-4 years don't have access to Netflix and such? Who would pay 500 and 400 and NOT play online.
Its a small + for PS+ in a rare case....but if that's a "+"....its a + that offers extra media services such as fantasy interactive sports with live TV...Skype..Skype while playing..fast switching...TV guide...etc.
I'm leaning towards ps4 as of RIGHT NOW based on game franchises and hardware.....but I'm paying for online with either one...and in that sense...Xbox live actually offers the better features for what you are paying. They have a lot of the same features but Xbox one goes the extra route with its new media features...that's not even arguable.
The game deals was a + on Sony side last gen but now Microsoft offers 2 games a month and BEEN offering game deals...so now it really does seem like you might be paying pretty much the same for the lesser of features on the Sony side.
That's why I'm struggling with which one I'm going to buy first. The best games are multiplat from what I can tell. I'm not as hyped for titan as many are...watchdogs...battlefield..and that final fantasy game are the 3 joints that caught my eye.

I'm not feeling the paying for online stuff but then again I already have 2yrs of ps plus

Where?![]()

You will probably have to buy the games and keep the PS+ subscription active in order to play it.Exactly. Unlike the Xbots who don't give a fukk about people not in their position (nikkaz with no internet or poor internet speeds), I do feel for the nikkaz who can't do online multiplayer for free on the PS4. I'm paid through 2015 with PS Plus as well, but even though this doesn't affect me, that shyt does suck for nikkaz who aren't plus members. At least they can still eat on the PS3. Plus was already greater than Live IMO because of the shyt you get with it and not just online multiplayer.
Now if Sony makes us pay EXTRA for Gaikai streaming when it's ready even with PS Plus membership...![]()

when they had the 3months for 15 bucks a while ago. Just doubled up![]()

That's a stretch and you know it.They have talked about everything else. Why not the online service? Could it mean its not a priority/strong point for them?![]()
