Honestly I think since the PS3 was such a shytty controller, people notice the bigger jump on the PS4 controller. The 360's was already good so the X1 does not give as big of jump in feel. I will try both here soon enough.
DualShock has always been better, S Controller/Fat Boy/Whatever you wanna call it has always been a rip off of it, just switched the analog. Plus the DS naturally sits in your hand
Well, its really all an opinion unless we talking consoles then its XB1 controller with the rumble >>> PS4 and the touchpad
The fanboy video you posted, cute. But show me a single person anywhere that says they used the touchpad and it worked smoothly/flawlessly
And before any of you look for a fanboy to say that, every major gaming outlet has said it hasn't been used "practically" yet
Killzone isn't better for it, DriveClub isn't either. Knack is a mindless button masher for little children
Or maybe its more of a universal thing. Well, Majority
PS controllers are deemed too small because the overall population in japan are smaller in stature than we are here in the west
That has a part of it, then the position of the analog sticks were deemed too close which is fact, not opinion
The trigger buttons didn't compare to xbox's either, fact.
The Dpad is not even used for gameplay in 99% of games made these days, and while the xbox dpad was not better in majority opinion, I personally didn't have a problem pulling off Guile supers in SSF2HDR at will. I did come from the NES era, and if you was an OG then navigating the XB controllers Dpad should not have been a problem
So while its still opinion, the overall and majority opinion is XB360 = Best Ever.
The new way the rumble is used in the XB1 controller and the overall design has me believing its the new King
The touchpad is a great idea, but how will it make gaming better is the question?
If this was made by Nintendo they'd have a bunch of launch games designed around the new controllers features
Sony seems to like to have shyt just to say they got it, because the only thing we seen it used for was flicking those little spacemen that supposedly live in your DS4
I just hope that controller is big enough. That was my biggest gripe with the ds3. That and the analog sticks being so close. I liked the xbox controller much more but it nvr stopped me from using my ps3 tho.
