When did the Witcher 3 on the XBox One become better than the PS4 version?
"Summing up, Digital Foundry says the higher Xbox One frame-rate is misleading in terms of quality, as “a capped 30fps is by far the preferred option in this case.” Unfortunately, the PS4 version is hampered by its inability to run at a perfect 30fps, but thanks to its higher 1080p resolution, “Sony’s hardware is a preference” in terms of performance. “But it’s not the clear choice we had expected,” they conclude"
It runs at a lower resolution.![]()
It runs like shyt on PS4. Stan extra Ps at the sacrifice of your enjoyment brehs![]()
Nobody said anything about maximum perfromance. If I cared about maximizing performance, I'd quickly get a PC.
It's not necessary to downgrade most of the time and you're forgetting even some PC users are struggling to maintain 30 fps with similar parts and settings to the PS4 with Witcher 3. It's just one game.Nobody said anything about maximum perfromance.
Sony pushes devs to go with 1080p even if it means shyt performance, just so dudes like @Rekkapryde can run to every forum and scream 1080p, while ignoring the fact that it would be a better experience at a lesser resolution.

Well, yeah you downgrade the resolution and use medium settings. Not exactly ideal since Digital Foundary says PS4 uses Ultra settings. No its not just one game.
And its fairly easy to get a locked 30fps on PC

No they didn't. PS4 doesn't use ultra settings.

No. It clearly says they are using a mix of medium, high, and lowYeah, the consoles are both on High Settings equivalent.

How and where you figure that it's Sony's pushing? From all dev talks, I've heard them prefer or desire to push for 1080P on the PS4, not that they're forced into doing so by Sony.
