We had party chat for years already, even if you add all the coli's active members you still wouldn't max out at 2000 
Glad that we could customize the PS dynamic menu layout. Way too Facebook-like for my taste...
I can say I never gave a fukk about party chat in the first place. Didn't bash the PS3 for not having it and didn't bash the Xbox for having it. I think what most Sony stans gonna be happy about here is that they can play Free to play games without paying for Plus. Does the Xbox One let you play Free to Play games without paying for Live?

According to Sony fans of last gen free to play/casual games don't matter. Calling a game "free to play" is bad thing according to Sony stans.
The only reason you guys are pretending to care is because its a perceived advantage for ps4. In reality most of us will have a ps+/XBL subscription and we won't be playing too many "free to play" games anyway.

Glad they upped the friends list limit but ain't no one gonna have 2000 friends. Party Chat should be free. It's essential to have and being behind a paywall would be greedy. Still not getting a PS4 yet since I got too many games to play on my 3.
Rarely used party chat on 360 but damnit just give me a release date.

The 2000 friends thing is a good thing. Now I just hope they incorporate a way to organize your friends list in groups with some folders or something.

This is great news... Free to play without paying anything is a huge deal if the games are remotely good. Free party chat is great. I didn't even realize that it was an xbox live gold feature because I've always have had gold. The downside... and I know I'll get some nuh uh from some idiots. But if its free then that means you don't need a credit card or any personal financial info to set it up or get an account to chat. You know that. Any terrorist will know that. The NSA will know that. You are drunk if you think that they'll overlook the potential of anonymous hard to trace group chats. So watch what you say.
