Don't think this has been posted

Playing Killzone at work with my PS4 at Home, not just on local WiFi! The quality is super playable! Make sure to select HD!

Yep, I sucked... due to the angle I had to play at to film.

Update: Made a video to further prove the PS4 is not on the local network: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCs1CF...

No artifacting, and any bad looking quality is due to Phone Camera and Youtube processing. Had one quick graphic glitch, these are rare and pass quickly. FPS feels like 30-ish and doesn't really drop significantly.

This is the future, guys!

Setup: PS4 plugged into Router at home, Comcast ISP, Vita on my (Middle speed) corporate WiFi.

Looks great and I'm happy to see the feature works as well as advertised. A major plus for the systems.

Its a nice feature, but if gaming on a 5in screen is the reason you choose one over the other then :laff:

And this feature is tricky. Because this can be done on things like iPads as well, its just do they wan't to tell on themselves?

This is basically cloud gaming. Why would a PS4 need to be at your house, why couldn't they just host it from there end and stream to Vita's, tablets, etc. They can, but where is the $400 investment by YOU :krs:
The already (microsoft) showed off steaming Halo 4 to a Nokia 521 bottom of the line phone... flawlessly
That phone has 512mb of RAM total in it, it cannot run Halo 4 if the game was using the phone for graphics
They say for every XB1 purchased, they put the equivalent of 3XB1's into the cloud

They basically telling us they doing this already. But then, where is there $500 if they went all digital today?
And how would the consumers react? I heard they was upset about it in July

All I'm saying is I would be SHOCKED if this remote play thing took off, and Microsoft just sat and watched as sony one upped them.
And Microsoft has already leaked what they have up there sleeves. It was rumored that two models of xbox would be revealed at the XB1 reveal. XB1 and XB2
XB2 was basically vita TV, or a scaled down XB1 with only the media features (Anyone remember this)
This it mysteriously disappeared (was never revealed)

Not coincidentially Sony also revealed at the same time that Vita would NOT be coming to the US.

They both will drop in the states, this gen. Guaranteed. I think that will pop off more than remote play via vita.
Mainly because cell phone games should be enough for the majority when they not home using consoles/PC's

Got plenty of reasons why I'd invest in a PS4 if I decided to purchase(and plenty of reasons why I'd invest in an X1 if I choose to go that route). I'm not going out of my way shopping/pushing for "cloud gaming" as much as I'd simply just be enjoying a perk. I didn't buy a Vita with hopes of remote play, but since it's compatible with the PS4, I might as well enjoy it, should I get a PS4. I enjoy it as a standalone console, so it'll be played regardless of whatever I end up purchasing.

I'm honestly just waiting for everything to die down and more things start releasing before making any purchases.

Its an excellent feature that appears to work very very well. Nothing more needs to be said really. And yes, the Vita is worth getting, its a brilliant piece of hardware, but maybe one that is an anachronism.
