PS4 Masamune 2.00 update(Available Now)

Supported file types include MP3, MP4, M4A, and 3GP. Unfortunately, these files will have to remain on the USB drive in order to be listened to--you won't be able to copy them to your PS4's hard drive and play them from there. That seems like a real oversight (especially considering it's something the Xbox 360 supported many years ago), but it's hopefully something that will be rectified in the future. If it is, Sony isn't providing any indication that it plans to do so yet.

Exactly, which is one of the main points for a lot of us who requested the feature. Those of us who use the Gold Wireless Headset and plan on using an arcade stick with fighting games, for example, won't be able to utilize this half-assed feature. I'd rather Sony add this feature to the PS4 right or don't add it at all.
