With the shytty modding that goes on in the arcadium its not shocking that the Arcadium has been easily the most garbage forum in thecoli over the past few years.
We sorely need new modship, that is assuming the powers that be give a damn on whether or not this forum thrives.

This is complete garbage and you know it. Just a bunch of sony syncophants like yourself posting ad nauseum on how the PS4 is great, followed by shouting down of anyone praising the X1. The entire facade screams of insecurity and immaturity all the way round.

You are not a mod in this section, you didn't see the reports that popped up before. My assessment is based on evidence, evidence which you didn't have access to. I rarely ever have to throw threads to another forum or close threads these days and its a beautiful thing. You guys that are claiming that the arcadium is boring need to start talking about what the section was built for, not constant bickering back and forth over bullshyt. On SOHH the main problem was the iPhone vs Android threads, on here it was the PS4 and XBOX One back and forth. I am glad @cook took action because it would have made the forum even worse than the OG Rec Room on SOHH.
Either way I don't care at this point. The Arcadium will always be a mess due to the nature of gamers, its fanboy wars all over the internet and not much can really be done to change it. Courtdog knows why he can't make threads anymore, he was basically posting misinformation and straight up lies to push an agenda that crossed the line from being annoying to straight up spam at times.
Meach is annoying, BasedPrime is annoying, DBoy is annoying, Courtdog is annoying, but was spamming. That was the difference and the reason his thread posting privilege needed to be removed. Do you guys even pay attention and realize why actions are taken? None of this is difficult to comprehend.

Chief of staff to obama. If nobody is posting dikk picks, swatikas, or unautohrized private info, its not that big a deal. Simple fact is the posters in the arcadium are not good, esp the new ones. Some of them signed up strictly to stan a company and not discuss gaming at all. The quality has gone down significantly. Its very homogenous. If you are wondering why you dont get reports, its because one stanbase has basically run out everyone. This place is neo gaf lite. You cant even offer a dissenting opinion without a bunch of ppl attacking, negging, reporting, etc.
Your quality argument is a matter of opinion (the opinion of the minority). The conversations are much better now. The less reports being filed is a clear indicator that people actually prefer it this way. The activity might seem down because of the lack of new bait threads, but the activity has remained the same, just resulting in longer threads with less bickering back and forth. You basically implying that I am fabricating this is wrong, the evidence is clear as day.
Take a look at the first 2 pages of the arcadium index and see the difference. I know you can. There are threads on new content releases, official threads, photo thread, appreciation thread, a couple of threads asking for help, and of course 2 troll threads (1 of them locked).
Is it the content you are used to seeing? NOPE, but that's what a healthy forum looks like. Not back and forth bullshyt that was hurting this forum and then caused the split for a separate film room.
An argument to let Courtdog make threads again because "he keeps making them mad" is not a good starting point to argue for his thread making abilities to be put back in the arcadium. Trolls get access removed across all forums and the arcadium should be no exception.
This is why I was upset over the Arcadium/Film Room split, I think both forums should have remained together...the problem was the trolling. It's too late to argue about it now, but I was obviously right.
