Exactly, what idiot thought it was a good idea to leave it in a closed box

It also has a feature where it turns off if someone trips over the power cord and unplugs it.
The image above was snapped at a Sony event being held in Spain recently. The red line you see is an LED that is typically blue to signal the console is turned on and working normally. But in this instance it has turned red. Apparently it was accompanied by a message on the attached display stating that the PS4′s internal temperature was very high.
The person who snapped the image said that a Sony representative unlocked the security case and a couple of seconds later the red light had reverted to blue and the message had disappeared. That’s good news, and just suggests locking the console in a box with no ventilation is a very bad idea, just like it’s a bad idea to do that with any console, or a PC for that matter.

How exactly is this an L for Sony?
It was over heating (OBVIOUSLY because of the display case, since the color went back of blue a few seconds after a rep opened the case) and then it recovered without the console even shutting off.
This is an amazing feature that will definitely prevent consoles from fukking up due to heat
Xbox nikkas so desperate to find an L for Sony they don't even realize that this is a win

I didn't make this thread. But you have to admit stories of crashing ps4s have been pretty common at these shows. Are you concerned that the launch units might have problems?
If it happened to the X1 I'd have only talked shyt because Microsoft said it won't overheatYou missing the point entirely. Its was stupid as fukk for sony to leave the system on in a enclosed non ventilated case. We was making the point, if this would have happened to the X1 yall would have crucified it.
